A Poem

Sludgewick Overcast And you are disturbed,

the colder fist of reason disturbs

while you may grapple with the sidewhich turbed

you know that in your heart you know he is curved

but in your guts you know he’s returned.

and if you are so monstrously sycophantic

as to forgo the ministry over frantic

which allows you to do as he says not as he does,

your payment will be fresh from inner grave.

so watch your hand as the ballot is cast

because it may be your last.
